Dr. Karr grew up in Southern California and always had a passion for animals. He grew up wanting to be the next Steve Irwin and later transitioned into a love for veterinary medicine. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he is always looking for the next adventure.

After graduating from UC Davis he moved to San Diego where he has always wanted to live and started his professional career right here at Rancho Village!
